Bay Foreign Language Books was established in 1990 to specialise in selling foreign language learning materials e.g. dictionaries, grammars etc. We became a limited company on 1st January 2006.

Two of the founding members of the company each have more than 35 years of experience in every aspect of the book trade, including a thorough background in the acquisition and sale of foreign language dictionaries and grammars from throughout the world.

The company has developed into one of Great Britain’s foremost specialists in this field supplying leading retail bookshops, government offices, educational establishments as well as corporate and retail clients world-wide.

Bay Foreign Language Books Ltd is also the UK agent and distributor for numerous overseas specialist publishers, whose books cover a wide range of subjects.

Great service, great selection

They may have hundreds of languages, but they know their books! Very impressed, I was looking for a Slovak dictionary, they had a selection of eight different ones in stock, they helped me pick the right one (I wanted something portable and modern) and it came in a couple of days.
